Lin Dong, painting under the name Cloudslin, is a Chinese artist and designer based in London and China .

His paintings grow out of long-term observation and sketchbook studies. Drawing on visual languages ranging from ancient Chinese figurines, Miao culture and Dunhuang murals to modern surrealism, his work explores how personal memory intersects with shared cultural experience.

After studying fashion at Central Saint Martins and living in Paris during the pandemic, he returned to painting as his primary medium. His works have been presented in London, Shanghai, Beijing and Guiyang, and featured by the international art platform Homiens.
